Rediscovering God: The Man, the Myth, or the Ground of All That Is?
Is the traditional, personal God of theism a literal reality, a historical artifact, or a fundamental misunderstanding of the divine? This talk explores the shifting landscape of the “God idea” across the biblical narrative. By tracking its evolution from early, concrete personifications to a post-theistic framework, we will examine whether the persona of God was ultimately an educational stepping stone designed to lead us toward the ground of all that is.
Join us Sunday at 11:00, and stay for a shared lunch (feel free to bring a plate) and a discussion afterwards. It all wraps up around 2:30.
Service will be followed by a shared lunch and discussion. Please bring food to share.
